“My grandpa would wear his yellow YMCA shirt to most of my high school basketball games, he said it was just comfortable but I knew he wanted to make sure I saw him in the stands.
Two days after he passed, I had about an hour go through the apartment to grab some of his things that meant something to me. I put it all in a small box, took a few photos and left.
