The Karmir Avetaran Church, also known as the Red Gospel, was an Armenian church in Tbilisi. Its construction first began in 1775; on April 13, 1989, the church collapsed and was never restored.
The Zhinvali Reservoir in Georgia was constructed in the 1980s by the Soviet Union. With the dam completed around 1985–1986 to supply the rapidly growing city of Tbilisi with water, the reservoir flooded several villages and historical sites in the Aragvi Gorge, some dating back to Queen Tamar’s reign in the 12th century.
A deserted house on Chakhrukhadze Street in Tbilisi. According to Google Maps imagery, its structure and façade were still intact as of June 2023.
