Inspired by wallet-sized survival tools, these metal cards are equal parts utilitarian and playful. Each is designed to fit easily into your pocket, and can be reconfigured into a functional, three-dimensional tool with no additional parts. Initially devised as a whimsical, zero-hassle takeaway for attendees at our events, each tool measures only 2in by 3.25in (standard business card size).
Lifesavers' initial product offering features three iterations of the Pocket Tool—an Incense Holder, a Candle Holder, and an Ash Tray.
Each tool comes in a branded card stock package with an instructional “how to” insert detailing the steps for assembly. All packaging is designed by Cris Martinez, and inserts are printed by Battle Jester, a New Yorker-owned independent risograph press.
Lifesavers is an NYC-based collective and party series. Like the candy-inspired name suggests, this project was born from the belief that nights out can and should be lifesaving, and that the conduits for those experiences can and should be sweet people.
