Inspired by my grandfather’s seasonal gourd cultivation, this book treats the gourd vine as both a natural system and a visual language. Using photographs of his plants, I translate vine paths into a symbol system informed by calligraphy and type design, concluding with an interspecies dialogue on growth, time, and care.
