"In 2020, I bought a 50 pound box of industrial t-shirt scrap, usually used by businesses like auto body shops as rags. I cut out all the letters from the prints and scanned them alphabetically. Enjoy!" - Janelle Abbott
The Alphabet Zine by Janelle Abbott of JRAT Zero Waste is a Bungee Space exclusive, produced in a limited edition of 26. Each manila envelope features a photo transfer of the t-shirt alphabet composed of letters A through Z, each plucked from 50 pounds of t-shirt scrap; inside, the zine is comprised of 83 loose leaf scans of t-shirt letters in alphabetical order. In 2020, Janelle bought this 50 pound box of t-shirt scrap for a series of zero waste projects, including this Alphabet Zine. She did not publish the zine until her planned collaboration with Bungee Space in 2026 ended in failure, and she was forced to produce a consolation prize in its place. This zine is that prize, and this prize could be yours for the low price of $35. Enjoy!
