HOUNDS OF LOVE is the second experimental essay-zine and textual companion to A TIRED DOG IS A GOOD DOG, PART TWO, on the occasion of the exhibition at Human Resources Los Angeles in November 2024.
HOUNDS continues DOG WORRIES A BONE (2022), extending Matthew Lax’s films and research on dog-training, dog-breeding and puppy play, with analyses of Toco, Lassie, Sam Fuller’s White Dog (1982), Hervé Guibert’s Les Chiens, Donna Haraway and Francis Alÿs.
