In the investigation of personal identity, memory plays a fundamental role, photography builds the archive of a journey through memories, places of the past, to the point of projecting us towards a new narrative. Tanti saluti dalla luna is the story of the journey that connects the memory of a father, who flew to the Moon, to his daughter who remained far away on Earth. Since he landed on his new home, the Moon, a new communication has been activated: the sphere lamp in his study has remained lit, and above the globe on his desk, it resembles a Moon. The most traumatic events of our existence undoubtedly influence our identity, it therefore becomes natural to cling to every possible signal which, true or visionary, acquires the power to rewrite the order of events, transform suffering into cure, abandonment into greeting.
