At LA Art Book Fair 2026, Ten Books presents its debut title At Last, The Robot Flies by Manu Fowler at Bungee Space’s Table H7. The book will be available for pre-order through Bungee Space online store as the launch begins.

Presenting the publication here in Pasadena made it fitting to take this opportunity to honor the pioneering aeronautical engineer and designer Paul B. MacCready, a Caltech alumnus. In 1984, MacCready and his colleagues designed the Quetzalcoatlus northropi (Q.N.), a pterosaur ornithopter modeled after the largest animal ever to have flown on Earth.

Founded in 2026, Ten Books is the publishing imprint under Bungee Space by 3standardstoppage studio (est. 2016). The name comes from purchasing the International Standard Book Number, where the price was more favorable when purchasing ten instead of less. Should the number of projects exceed ten, a new imprint name will be adopted.
