Plates Spinning Kova & dow.d.p Pop Up |
||
|
KOVA & dow. d.p are landing at Bungee Space for an inclusive, open-ended pop-up from Feb 3rd to 22nd, embracing “plate-spinning” as a collaborative, multitasking creative flow that moves freely across publishing, fashion, and art. The event brings together a pop-up store, exhibition, hands-on workshops, casual sharings, and playful stylings. Wearable publications, upcycled garments, and functional objects live side by side, inviting visitors to try things on, rearrange, talk, and make. |

Throughout the pop-up at Bungee Space, the designer and editor of KOVA & dow. d.p will present an open table and take the audience on a journey to revisit their publishing process. During the first week (Feb 4–5), styling sessions will take place, welcoming everyone to experiment, mix and match, and express themselves freely.
In the final week, Liz Zhu (co-founder of KOVA and the person behind dow.d.p) will guide The Pony Tail Project workshop to explore the reconstruction of the hyper-feminine Barbie doll through guided collage, drawing, and writing exercises.
Guided drawing and writing exercises will support participants in unpacking the layers of fantasy, performance, and cultural construction embedded within the icon. The session will conclude with an open exchange, where individual outcomes are collectively rearranged and presented as a shared work, with selected contributions having the opportunity to be published. Come explore, create, and make new friends.
