electryone
Electryone

The book is a restitution of the Electryone project, which was presented at the Design Biennale Zurich 2023. Electryone is a solar cooking device for gatherings that invites to engage with energy production. (It rotates alongside the sun path, stays beneath it, harnesses the sunrays, reflects them concentrated onto a focal point and converts the rays to heat.) In collaboration with the project participants, we developed a visual narrative that gradually unveils the construction process and its functioning, elucidated through texts and images within the fold-out poster.

Authors of the project: ALIAS, Arnaud Bostelmann, COMTE/MEUWLY, Lewis Horkulak, Kitchuan, Nicolas König, Pierre Marmy, Ansgar Stadler

Project developed in the context of the 2023 Design Biennale Zurich, with performative cooking events by Kitchuan, exhibited at Modern Animals gallery Zurich

Texts: Electryone, by Marine de Dardel; A simple instrument to capture the energy of the Sun, by Dr. Baptiste J.
