Soft good designed and produced by GUNTHUR in Portland, OR. The G-A/1.5 Apron was inspired by artisans and designed to meet their functional needs. It offers a high level of protection, concealed storage and most importantly, a functional pleat system that allows for an enhanced range of motion.

These features were amplified by obsessing the aesthetic design language, fit and construction. Insuring the end result is a product that looks as beautiful as it works.

The apron is applicable to a broad range of artisans and makers, but it lends itself in particularly well to metal smiths and tattoo artists.

GUNTHUR is Portland(OR)-based design and fabrication studio, specializing in sterling silver jewelry and other accessories.

They are a small two-person (Jordan and Corynn) operation. All of their design, prototyping and production are done in-house at their studio.

 

Every piece is made individually, by hand from start to finish. They focus on making simple, well-made products using traditional techniques. They enjoy experimenting and building what they find to be fun, while obsessing proportion, wearability, and hand feel.
